01 The application

Keeping Your Lead-Acid Batteries in Top Shape with BACS Battery Management Systems

If you have gone through the trouble of equipping your site with a battery backup system, this probably means that your installation is a mission-critical operation. It is only logical therefore that you monitor these batteries and maintain them at optimal efficiency.

02 Useful Feature

Battery Analysis and Care System (GENEREX BACS)

Batteries maintained at their optimal float voltage—in addition to being held at reasonable operating temperatures—will provide an extended service life. The BACS system is an ideal battery monitoring solution that provides the voltage, temperature, and internal resistance of each battery and manages charging voltage in order to keep the batteries at their optimal voltage level. BACS system allows newer batteries to be placed in a string independently of interaction with the older batteries. Equally important are the cost saving benefits due to the increased service life and the environmental aspects of reducing battery replacement cycles.

GENEREX BACS (Battery Analysis & Care System) is the most advanced product of its kind on the market today, and it easily interfaces with Davicom Cortex units via SNMP or MODBUS.

03 Useful Feature

Differential Voltage Inputs on Davicom CORTEX360

The Davicom Cortex360’s Analog Inputs can operate at a common level voltage of up to 80VDC. This allows individual cell voltages to be measured on 48VDC battery strings where 24 x 2V batteries are connected in series.
